Almost certainly the cheapest sauna in Melbourne. A casual lap swim at MSAC is $8.50 for an adult and $5.80 concession, and their own booking page says that ticket includes shared access to the spa, the steam room and the sauna - so unlike most public pools you are not paying extra for the heat. Open from 5.30am six days a week and until 10pm on weeknights. It is a 1990s state sports centre rather than anywhere restful, and it is busy, but for a sweat after work at under nine dollars nothing else on this site comes close.
